Someone who needs a flat cleaned or a bathroom redone usually looks at more than one company before writing. This page explains how I build a site that makes your company easy to understand: what you do, where you work and how to ask for a quote.
What usually goes wrong on cleaning and renovation sites
Two services blur into one
A company that cleans and also renovates often ends up with one page that tries to speak to both. Someone who wants a flat cleaned before handing back the keys has to read about bathroom renovation first, and a renovation customer meets cleaning offers. Each service needs its own page, its own wording and its own way to write to you.
The form asks too much, too early
A long form, or a price calculator that cannot see the real job, makes people give up or send guesses. What a quote needs is short: which service, what kind of property, when, and how to reach the customer.
Nobody can tell where you work
Cleaning and renovation are local jobs. When a page does not name the municipalities you cover, a visitor has to phone just to learn whether you come to them at all.
Customers read in another language
In a region where people read in more than one language, a site in a single language quietly turns some of them away. The second language needs its own pages and its own addresses, not a translation widget bolted on top.
What the website does for a cleaning and renovation company
The structure follows the way people look for this kind of work: first the service, then the place, then the quickest way to ask.
One page for each service, each with its own enquiry path, so cleaning and renovation never compete for the same screen.
A short enquiry form made of plain questions: what needs cleaning, what kind of property, the date and a way to reach the customer. Only the service type and the contact details are required.
A WhatsApp route for people who prefer a messenger: the form shows a preview of the message, and the thank-you page opens WhatsApp with the summary filled in.
A service-area section built from the municipalities you confirm, so the page never claims a district you do not serve.
Guide articles that answer questions customers already ask, such as what to check when an apartment is handed over.
Two language versions when your customers read in two languages, each on its own address and linked to the other.
Facts only: no invented reviews, statistics or promises. Everything shown on the page is something you have confirmed.
The case: Fedenko
Fedenko, a Swiss cleaning and renovation company
Fedenko offers cleaning and interior renovation in the Zürich region. I built and launched its site in German and English. Cleaning and renovation each have their own page and enquiry path, the forms collect only what a quote needs, and an enquiry can end in a prepared WhatsApp message. Contact details and prices are hidden in the screenshots, and traffic or enquiry results are not published.
For a company like this the closest match is the business website: a home page, one page per service, the areas you cover and the ways to get in touch. If you want to test a single service first, a landing page is the smaller start. If a site already exists but is hard to read or to maintain, a redesign is the better fit. We pick on the call.
The work depends on how many services you offer, how many municipalities you list and whether a second language is needed. Describe the company on a short call, and a single fixed quote follows. It is written into the contract before work begins.
Questions from cleaning and renovation companies
Do I need a price calculator?
Not necessarily. Fedenko decided against one, and its forms collect only the details needed to prepare a quote. A calculator has to guess a scope that nobody has looked at yet.
Can customers contact us through WhatsApp?
Yes. On Fedenko the enquiry form shows a preview of a WhatsApp message, and the thank-you page opens WhatsApp with the summary filled in. A plain form, a phone number or an e-mail address can sit next to it.
Can I list only the areas where we really work?
Yes. The list of areas comes from you. If it changes, I update it, or it can be made editable in an admin panel if you add that to the scope.
Does a cleaning site need articles?
They are optional. The Fedenko site includes a section of guides, six per language, covering for example an apartment handover checklist and who pays for renovating a rented flat. At the start we decide whether you want such a section and what it covers.
Guarantees
Two promises I always keep
Fixed price in the contract
The price is written into the contract before work starts. You get the quote after a short call, once the scope is clear.
Everything in your name
Domain, hosting, code and every access are in your name. The site stays yours, whoever works on it next.
Describe your project
Tell me about your business and what you need. A short call follows, then a fixed quote.
