The problem: a good site that nobody can find or measure
A site can look right and still be hard for search engines to read: no sitemap, the same page reachable at several addresses, no language tags, no markup that says what the business is. Without analytics, nobody can tell which pages visitors actually use.
This service sets up the foundations. It does not promise rankings, visits or enquiries, because those also depend on your company, your prices and your competition.
What you get
The setup covers the technical side of being found and measured:
A page title and description written for each page.
Canonical addresses and clean URLs, so each page has one address.
A sitemap and a robots file.
Language tags (hreflang) for sites in more than one language.
Structured data (JSON-LD) that describes the business, the services and the page trail.
Google Analytics 4 behind a cookie banner with Google Consent Mode v2, so it loads only after the visitor accepts.
Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up for the launch.
A Google Business Profile, set up and verified where it fits the business.
Where I built this
Fedenko: the foundations at launch
For this Swiss cleaning and renovation company the launch included canonical URLs, hreflang for de-CH, en-CH and x-default, a sitemap and JSON-LD, a cookie banner with Consent Mode v2, GA4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and a verified Google Business Profile.
The site has a guide with six articles in each language, on topics such as the apartment handover checklist, what drives the cost of a move-out cleaning, and who pays when renovating a rental apartment. Traffic and results are not published.
On the short call we look at the site you have or plan: addresses, languages, and what is already measured. The scope and the timeline are agreed at the end of this call.
02
Technical setup
I add titles, descriptions, canonical addresses, a sitemap, language tags and structured data to the pages.
03
Analytics and consent
I set up GA4 behind the cookie banner and connect Search Console, so there is data to read once visitors arrive.
04
Check and hand over
I check the pages, the markup and the consent behaviour before launch. The accounts are created in your name, and you receive every access.
Fixed quote after a short call
The size of the site and the number of languages change the work, so there is no price list. After a short call you get one fixed quote for the setup, and it goes into the contract. Anything beyond the launch setup, such as work after launch, is quoted separately.
Questions about SEO and analytics setup
Will this put my site on the first page of Google?
I cannot promise that, and nobody honest can. I set up the foundations so search engines can read the site correctly. Positions depend on your company, your service and your competitors.
Do I need a cookie banner for analytics?
If analytics uses cookies, visitors should be able to choose. I set up GA4 so that it loads only after the visitor accepts, with Google Consent Mode v2, as on the Fedenko site. This is a technical setup, not legal advice.
Can you do this for a site you did not build?
It depends on how the site is built and whether I can edit its pages. We check that on the first call.
Who owns the Google accounts?
You do. Analytics, Search Console and the Business Profile are created in your name, and every access is handed over.
Guarantees
Two promises I always keep
Fixed price in the contract
The price is written into the contract before work starts. You get the quote after a short call, once the scope is clear.
Everything in your name
Domain, hosting, code and every access are in your name. The site stays yours, whoever works on it next.
Describe your project
Tell me about your business and what you need. A short call follows, then a fixed quote.
